MossBossAndDixie.com collects information that adults voluntarily submit through the website, such as an email address, name, phone number, sponsorship information, review, or research lead.

How we use information

We use that information to:

• deliver a resource someone requested;
• send occasional Moss Boss & Dixie book, activity, or project updates when someone signs up for them;
• respond to messages, research leads, reviews, sponsorship questions, or customer requests;
• support orders and sponsorships that are completed through third-party payment services; and
• understand how the website is being used so the experience can be improved.

We do not sell personal information.

Public reader notes

Review and comment forms are for adults aged 18 or older. We collect the chosen public display name, review category, comment, optional rating, submission time, and moderation status. No email is required. Notes remain private until the owner approves them. Approved display names, comments, categories, ratings and dates appear publicly. Do not include a child’s personal information, contact details, addresses, or identifying details. The owner may reject or withdraw a submission; use the contact address below to request removal.

Anti-spam controls use a temporary daily hash of the connection address and time-limited submission challenges. Raw connection addresses are not saved in the review records. Expired anti-spam records are removed as new forms are opened. These hashes are not displayed publicly.

Payments and analytics

Payment information is handled by third-party payment providers such as PayPal. MossBossAndDixie.com does not store full payment-card information.

The website may use standard analytics technologies that collect information such as browser/device type, pages viewed, and general usage activity.

tawk.to visitor monitoring

If you opt in below, tawk.to receives technical information about your visit, including your connection address, browser/device information, pages visited, referring site and visit timing. Its cookies and related browser storage support visitor recognition. We use this to understand visits to the project. The chat interface is hidden, and we do not send signup email addresses or form contents to tawk.to.

Monitoring is not loaded before opt-in and stays off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can withdraw your choice below; the page reloads to disconnect the monitoring script.
